Fabula Sabula Iowa. This great island city was made for Amphicars. Plus in Savannah Illinois (across) the river is the Worlds greatest Indian motorcycle collection housed in a three story bar/church and tattoo parlor. Camping in Sabula is really really cool. With nearly all sites surrounded by water. There are Bed and breakfast places too. Plus regular motels in Savannah. Call Me with questions 815 849 5498. Later Dave the Wave

There is a small chance a Hydra Spyder will be attending the Sabula swim. Just a tad faster than an Amphicar! He wants to attend but car may not be ready.

11 degrees today but soon We will be meeting at The Iron Horse Social Club.

Looks like You will have to cut and paste the advrider link. Front of bar does not do it justice. Three stories of antique bar and bikes. Plus the fun of going over the scary bridge between Sabula and Savannah.

Bar/Church & Tattoo parlor? This might just be the place I get my first body ink.

Torn between a mermaid (left arm), Amphipoda logo (right arm) Amphi Logo (chest)
and SS# barcode (forehead). Maybe get all 4.

This is a great biker bar. great food and views. I think a Friday night would be good here. Are You renting a car or do You need to be picked up?

Raven's Grin Inn Here is a real life haunted house We greatly enjoyed a couple years back.

Not a bad drive from Sabula. Its next to the Buffalo Head Bar.

Looks like I'll fly into Cedar Rapids - dates to be determined, and I'll likely
rent a car (non-amphibious). The photos look great! I'm psyched to have
this on my calendar. Mermaid wants me to go... and she doesn't want to
be an anchor, HOWEVER getting a tat isn't something she'll likely approve.
Let me know the where and whens so I can arrive on schedule. Left to
my own vices I'll miss the boat and simply wait at Poopy's until someone
finds me on the ink slab passed out cold.
