Re Lake Dora Camping - 03-25-2008, 09:45 PM

A member of the Antique Boat Club ( Sunnyland Chapter ) sent me an e-mail
asking that I pass on to anyone interested that in addition to the RV Resort 3
miles from Wooten Park where the show takes place, due to the increased space
available at the Tavares location, they are offering "Dry Camping" ( meaning
with no hook ups of any kind ) from Friday to Monday for $ 140. The Full
Hook up rate at the Harris RV Resort is $ 35. a night. He pointed out that
being right at the show site would be very convenient, although devoid of
electricity at night for Air conditioning as well as any other hook ups. ( I am
presuming the same general restrictions apply as at other similar Dry Camping
situations when Generators cannot be run at night from 11 PM to 7 AM in order
not to disturb nearby campers.)

See you all there. For those of you from out of the area, the forecast
looks like another winner with sun and no rain and temperature around the low
80's. The last 10 years have all been great weather, so we ordered more of the
same ! Vic ( Capt. Splash ) Nelson with the '67 "Split Personality"
