Mt Dora - 04-01-2008, 08:14 AM

Mt. Dora was just what I needed. Spent most of My time with New Hampshire Mike and Kamakazi. We missed the Saturday night dinner with group but took full advantage of our favorite tiki bar. Warm sun, beautiful sites and cold beer. May hate of Winter grew even more. We took full advantage of miles of lakes and hidden boat ramps. Got to party with Cap N John and Tampa Tommy (lynn too). It all ended way to quick. Back home enjoying 35 degrees.

The Dora show as really great! Something about doing 60+ across the lake in a really rare and cool Scimitar that just has to make ya smile! I was out with Tommy in his Scimitar waiting for the police to open the ramp up after the airplane crash when Tommy spotted the only other Scimitar on the lake. He took off after them ane we had a nice speed run with them. Now THAT WAS FUN!

The boats there were breath taking, the people were also friendly. I didn't get to spend much time with some people that I wanted to see, but that is how it goes sometimes.

Vic and Dave M. once again did a professional job! Lots of prises and good conversation. The IAOC donated $200 to Vic for his efforts. The check was presented by the new treasurer, John Capone.

I'm back home to 28 deg and sleeping with a electric blanket on instead of the AC. Photos to follow soon.
