Sounds like a classic case of "Sour Grapes". Excuse me if I am in a pissy mood this evening but it gets annoying when people who are trying to be helpful continually get crapped on.

Let's see here, 9 messages contributed to the forum .. 3 of them are:

1. "Not for real? You own a VW Bug, an Amphi and you still want frebees"
2. all of you need a life!!!!!!!!!!
3. Whatta fart in church this turned out to be, completly boring started as a good idea but you know what good ideas are like!

If you can do it so much better then get involved and make a positive contribution. Become an officer of the club, bring your DUKWs to Celina and give free rides to the Otterbein residents or participate in Make a Wish as many of the other Amphi owners have done, answer someones technical question in a posting, whetever.

Thanks Mike,

Yes, negative comments don't do much for anyone except perhaps for
like minded people. I'm not impressed.

Hoof hearted? Just what are you trying to say? I thought it was a good idea to let everyone in here, so I guess you are right once again! Always with the negative comments. They take longer to read than the thought that must have been involved in writing them.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled HELPFUL forum.....

Hi Mike,
I could not agree more. This guy is out of line, and his postings are not
helpful or beneficial to anyone. If he is bored and bothered by the list, or
feels that we don't have as exciting a life as his, why does he stay? I can only
presume that these three posts are from the same guy, although I cannot tell
for sure without the signature line.
Please know that 99.9% of those on this list really appreciate and admire
your efforts, and we all enjoy and use the list, even if we have some questions
or suggestions about the new format. I would even go so far to say that all of
the members except this guy, are appreciative of your efforts.
Please do not get discouraged, and do not waste any energy on this one
complainer, who seems to require some form of formal entertainment to make his life
interesting.
Chas

Hello Mike ~ I agree with what Chas just wrote.
( this guy is out of line etc. )
Your hard working endeavors for a multitude of people are more than "
FANTASIC !!! "
Without you.....Where would this site be ?
Please know that you are appreciated !
Please don't let one fault finding person bring you down to
his level .
Remember , he is less that 1/10 of 1 % of this group !
In fact....he may be the only complainer ~
Way too small to even reckon with ! Save your energy !
Thanks for your continued GREAT efforts !!!
Again ~~ You are greatly "APPRECIATED !!" and without you we ALL would be
down under....SUNK ! Glub !

Thanks Jackie,

I am thick skinned and can take the hits that come my way. What irked me here is that you have Mike volunteering his Amphi in exchange for a donation to Make a wish, Ron trying to make sure we have a story for the newsletter, John offering up images from an extensive library of material, etc. Why anyone feels a need to dump on these folks is beyond me.

Mike

John, that would be great... let me film the show first, then i'll get i touch with you when I'm in the editing room.

Mike in N.H.: I will give you a call soon. I'm a little swamped now with another project and will hopefully get around to the shooting schedule in the next week... When I have some open dates figured out, I'll run them by you.

Thanks a bunch guys. This is going to be really great!

Hey Mike,

How's it going? I didn't forget about you. I still want to do this
amphicar show. How's the fishing? How's your schedule in August and
September?
