Yes www.rarebits4classics.co.uk Bill the owner will ship to the US no
problem. These are the only people most Triumph owners in the UK trust for
supply of rotor arms. There are hundreds of bad ones about - some are even
branded Lucas. If you have NOS made before 1980 you should be OK but if you
have replaced it since then think about changing it. There is no easy way
of telling if or when the rotor arm will fail and a failed arm looks
identical to a good one. The problem is the plastic changes form and earths
the spark to the distie shaft.

I bought 2 rotors from Bill since I had to be towed out of a lake last year when my brand new piece of crap rotor went south. These are high quality rotors he sells. Bill does not take credit cards and doesn't like to do American dollars, but does do paypal I believe. With shipping they ended up costing me $40 for the pair.

I have a replacement speedometer that has low miles too. I think someone is telling a fish story. Later Dave the Wave-Hey Tommy stop on in when heading to Canada. Later Dave the Wave[/quote]

Well Dave, cuz I love you I will tell you the story.
There were two cars, they belonged to two sisters. They were sold to settle there estate. The red one has about 1250 miles and the blue one has about 550 miles. These cars are real, both have been stored covered inside a garage since 1977. The blue one will be delivered here Friday and I will post pictures then.
Anyhow that's the truth, heck Amphicar Pervert will tell you I am truthful most times.
One more thing, how much for that low mileage speedo, I will be selling Corky the red '67 soon.

There were two cars, they belonged to two sisters

Hey, I knew those girls, met them in upstate NY at a 1969
concert in Binghamton, they kept the cars at two lakehouses on Great Sacandaga Lake.
One sister lived in Cranbury Creek, NY the other in Fish House, NY
They were twins, one had red hair--red car and one had blue eyes--blue car
Man, they were some wild chicks, that red car could tell some stories--hence the more miles, but really they had twice the water time than road miles,
I'm amazed they are still here as the girls used to leave them in the water for weeks at a time, sometimes we would have to get one of the wood runabouts and search the lake for them.

I think I still have some fotos of the cars and girls with their tops down someplace if I can find them--------

Oh yea, as I think of those good old days---we used to fill the cars up with gas for $3.50-------I seem to remember Alice---blue car,
saying she would leave it to me for my services, she actually wrote out a will signed by both of them, I'm sure I have it here someplace, probably with those fotos.

Lemme know when the other car is for sale and get a speedometer with less than 200 miles on it-----I too, would like to have a---------------

I found this very old post I did when I was starting my rebuild on things to do. You might take a look, there is some good feedback in there (but boy do I feel naive looking at some of those list items!)
