I was wondering what the proper color would be for the frame of the convertible top ?? I have a red car,with the grey/white interior.
Also,while doing some body work I can accross some yellow paint.Where there any cars that where yellow????

I just asked this question at Gordon's and was told
that early cars had gray top frames and later cars had
black.

I just redid my doors and found both gray and yellow way underneath the paint when stripping down to bare metal. I assume that it is a primer / filler of some sort?
