I just found an interesting site (true, aimed a bit more toward cars with
more muscle than an Amphi):

http://www.americantorque.com/graph-rpm-vs-speed/

Just playing around with the calculator, using:

* 1st: 4.5:1
* 2nd: 2.91:1
* 3rd: 1.75:
* 4th: 1.05:1
* Differential: 4.72:1
* Shift Point: 3500 RPM
* Tire height: 21 inches

Maximum speed in each gear is:

* 1st 10 MPH
* 2nd 16 MPH
* 3rd 25 MPH
* 4th 44 MPH

Exceeding the 3500RPM point in 4th gear, you need 5550 RPM to get 70 MPH.
That's humming pretty fast for a 50 year old motor!
