Re: Battery Box??

Shellee at Gordon Imports told me that original plastic battery box was red with a white top. Surely somebody has a picture and dimensions of the "original" plastic box! Would appreciate the info.
Thanks,
Ted

Re: Battery Box??

John,
Is the battery box tray(and straps) supposed to be black or the same color as the car? Other than your pictures, every tray that I have seen is rusted so bad that ther is no discernable paint color!
Thanks again,
Ted Matthews

The original battery boxes were never plastic as far as I know, they were all steel. The tray and straps were the color of the car the metal box itself was black.
